AN EMPOWERED COMMUNITY
“The CBC's engagement with young people provides opportunities to learn about local and social issues, as well as learning new skills. It can also inspire and foster young people to work in the media industry, an industry which is still closed off to young people from some backgrounds.”

Positively assist with local skills-training, job-creation and economic regeneration.
We aim is to enhance people's life experiences and employment skills, raise community aspirations, pride and harmony, and most importantly - give our community their own creative voice through CBC-TV innovative media projects.
Currently there is no other company of the same concept and ambition in the UK: an e-commerce media and skills training enterprise operating as a not-for-profit C.I.C, solely for the gain of the community rather than personal gain.
Throughout The CBC's concept and design, our aim was to put our local community needs first. To ensure this, we undertook the following research:
1. Held consultation meetings with community leaders and officers.
2. Organised forum groups to discuss ideas directly with people in our local area. The feedback we received was vital in shaping our community engagement activities and company operating structure.
3. Reviewed a variety of local commissioned reports:
Every Child Matters, Worcestershire Make a Difference Strategy, Worcestershire Partnership Safety, Wyre Forest Matters, Wyre Forest Community Strategy, The Art Council's: Taking Part Survey, West Midlands' Employers Info Survey and CBI West Midlands Survey 2012.
"A valuable resource & look forward to working with them on future projects."
As a community company we are committed to collaborating with local like-minded community groups, organisations and businesses.
We love to share our ideas and experiences, in fact many of our projects have been born out of identifying a unified need.
