4-F'S FILM PROJECT

FILMS FROM FUTURE FILM-MAKERS

A Secondary Schools' Workshop Project

YOUNG PERSON'S FILM FESTIVAL

 

Our long-term aim for the project is to become an annual event involving schools from across West Midlands with 12 films produced and screened, creating an officially listed 'Young Persons' Film Festival'. 

STORY & SHORT-FILM CRITERIA

  • The film is to be between 5 - 8 minutes in length 

  • It can contain a maximum of three different locations (all need to be within the school grounds) 

  • It can contain a maximum of eight cast characters 

  • The film-story must be written by the students

The 4F's Project is being delivered in collaboration with The University of Wolverhampton, with whom The CBC has a working collaborative relationship.

PILOT PROJECT INFO

 

Commencing with Worcestershire, local secondary schools will be invited to put together student film-teams to pitch their story ideas.   The two winning teams will be supported and mentored by The CBC to produce their own short-film, with ​a small budget and use of our equipment and facilities. 

The films will then screen ​at an exclusive invitation only premier night.

 

STUDENTS' PROJECT AIM

A brand new, innovative and unique project offering talented young film-makers the opportunity to be nurtured in a supportive environment and produce their own short-films. 

 

To prepare the films and teams, workshops will be delivered by industry crew. During the workshops their stories will be developed into scripts, the crew will be technically skills trained and cast will rehearse for the film shoot period. 


The CBC will undertake post-production of sound and visuals by our appointed editors.
